Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Assistant to join our team on a Contract to permanent basis. Based in Houston, Texas, this role is ideal for someone with experience in construction projects who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in coordinating project activities, maintaining schedules, and ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily project operations and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure seamless processes.

• Support scheduling efforts, procurement activities, and progress tracking to meet project deadlines.

• Manage submittals, RFIs, and other project-related communications using Procore.

• Participate in site visits, job walks, and project meetings to provide on-site support when required.

• Organize and maintain both digital and physical project files to ensure compliance and readiness for audits.

• Facilitate communication with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to align project goals and deliverables.

• Monitor project timelines and budgets, addressing discrepancies to keep projects on track.

• Ensure project documentation adheres to construction industry standards and requirements. Requirements • Proven experience in project coordination within the construction industry.

• Familiarity with Procore or similar project management software.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities.

• Knowledge of commercial construction processes, documentation, and schedules.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed project records.

• Experience in attending site visits and handling project-related logistics.
