Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team in Weymouth, Massachusetts. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your financial expertise to a growing organization. The role involves managing various bookkeeping tasks and ensuring accuracy in financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, in an accurate and timely manner.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and record financial data, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements to support decision-making processes.

• Monitor and process invoices, ensuring prompt payments and proper documentation.

• Reconcile vendor accounts and address any discrepancies or issues that arise.

• Maintain organized and accurate documentation of all financial transactions for auditing purposes.

• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and implement best practices.

• Provide support for end-of-month and year-end closing activities. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external vendors.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
