    Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk responsible for accurately receiving and shipping items, ensuring they match purchase orders. The role includes writing job numbers on received items, shipping items primarily using UPS and T-Force freight, packaging items for shipment, and moving inventory to the appropriate storage locations.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive items and match them to purchase orders and job/order numbers.

    + Ensure the correct items are received and write job numbers on them.

    + Ship items using UPS and T-Force freight, with familiarity in UPS Worldship app being a plus.

    + Package items for shipment and band larger items to pallets for freight shipping.

    + Move inventory and job-specific parts to appropriate storage locations using a pallet jack or forklift.

    + Operate a forklift and use a saw to cut panels to appropriate lengths according to orders.

    + Package panels for shipment and read a tape measure in both metric and standard units.

    + Pick components from the warehouse for assembly based on the Bill of Material.

    + Monitor inventory levels and notify the supervisor when supplies are low.

    + Use the company vehicle to pick up job parts from nearby vendors once or twice a month.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in shipping and receiving.

    + Forklift operation experience (sit down/stand up).

    + Ability to use hand and power tools.

    + Proficiency in reading a tape measure with attention to detail and accuracy.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge in inventory control, SAP, logistics, and order selection.

    + Experience with packaging and assembly.

    + Saw operation and production knowledge.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leola, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
