    Job Title: Mobile Heavy Equipment Technician

We’re seeking a skilled **Mobile Heavy Equipment Technician** to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy machinery directly at customer job sites.     Key Responsibilities

    + Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy equipment.

    + Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

    + Communicate clearly with customers about service needs, timelines, and outcomes.

    + Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

    + Operate and maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment.

    + Adhere to all safety standards and company procedures.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in diesel or heavy equipment preferred.

    + 1–8 years of hands-on experience (Technician Levels I–III).

    + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    + Ability to read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and blueprints.

    + Strong troubleshooting, time management, and customer service skills.

    Preferred Skills

    + Expertise in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

    + Experience with excavators, loaders, and other heavy machinery.

    + Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and field service operations.

    Work Environment

     

    This is a field-based role requiring travel to customer sites using a company-provided service vehicle. Technicians must be adaptable to various outdoor and indoor work conditions.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $101920.00/yr.
