Job Title: Production/Shipping Associate

Job Description

The Production/Shipping Associate ensures the orderly and timely flow of assemblies and products to meet the requirements of the production schedule. This role involves handling large and heavy workpieces for operations such as shearing, punching, drilling, bending, and deburring. Responsibilities also include performing area cleanup and safety duties, along with ensuring effective inventory control over all materials, equipment, and supplies. The associate will independently perform essential functions and proficiently handle routine tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Handle large and heavy workpieces for various operations.

+ Perform area cleanup and safety-related duties.

+ Ensure effective inventory control over incoming and outgoing materials, equipment, and supplies.

+ Communicate clearly with coworkers, planners, material managers, and internal customers.

+ Work towards team goals and possess general knowledge of material planning, control, and manufacturing environments.

+ Possess necessary computer skills to proficiently handle routine tasks.

+ Perform packaging, labeling, data entry, and quality checks.

+ Proficiency in computer skills.

+ Experience in data entry and quality checks.

+ Flexibility and collaboration skills.

+ Previous shipping or receiving experience.

+ Experience in production and manufacturing environments.

+ Familiarity with inventory control and methodology.

+ Comfortable lifting 30 lbs.

+ Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

+ Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch repeatedly.

+ Willingness to work at various heights using a ladder.

Work Environment

The position is for the 1st Shift, from 7 am to 3:30 pm. The facility is climate-controlled, providing a comfortable working environment. The manufacturing team is friendly, and the work schedules are flexible to accommodate employees' needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of State College, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
