The Commercial Project Manager (CPM) is an integral part of
the Finance team for the Gas Services Central business organization. The Commercial
Project Manager is working together with the Project Manager to implement and
execute large Power Plant Projects typically ranging from $80M - $300M!
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Work in collaboration with the Project Managerto ensure accurate project costs and pricing according to defined guidelines,while establishing and maintaining the financial framework for projects basedon contractual agreements during execution.
+ Take full responsibility for allfinance-related project topics, including Accounting, Legal, Tax, ForeignExchange, and NCM, and ensure achievement of contract requirements such asperformance guarantees, insurance, and taxes.
+ Oversee project financials, including monthlyrevenue recognition in compliance with guidelines, management of the cashflow/payment plan, and timely generation of customer invoices.
+ Perform financial planning, assess risks andopportunities for financial impact, mitigate risk, and optimize profit margins.
+ Prepare and present quarterly project reviewpackages to executive management, and lead customer interactions forcontractual topics or change order negotiations.
+ Support special assignments and collaboratewith external auditors on audit topics as required. **What You Bring**
+ Bachelor’sdegree in Finance/ Business Administration/ Accounting or related field isrequired.
+ 5+years of professional experience in Business Administration or in Finance,preferably with experience in Project Management; Candidates with moreyears of experience may be eligible for a higher-level position.
+ Strongknowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and Percentage of Completion (PoC) accounting,with advanced Microsoft Office skills; SAP experience highly desirable.
+ Strong problem-solving, communication, andmulti-tasking abilities, with the capability to work both independently and ina team-oriented environment.
+ Ability to travel up to 10% and obtain apassport as required.
