As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Technical Architect to join our talented group of professionals and lead the design and implementation of world-class EWM infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The SAP EWM Technical Architect is a strategic role responsible for architecting, designing and delivering SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions. The successful candidate will serve as a technical leader, collaborating with business stakeholders, functional and technical consultants, development teams and the broader SAP organization to deliver high-impact solutions tailored to Lilly’s operational requirements. This role demands a deep understanding of SAP architecture, integration of EWM with other SAP modules and the ability to translate complex business needs into robust system architectures.
How You’ll Succeed:
+ Architecture & Design: Lead the overall architecture and detailed design of SAP EWM implementations, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business requirements.
+ Project Leadership: Lead the team in the planning and execution of new initiatives. Provide implementation oversight for new system builds, integrations and releases. Point of escalation within the team and with senior leadership, implementation leads and site leads.
+ Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on leadership in complex SAP EWM configurations, enhancements and integrations, including RF framework, DRF (Data Replication Framework) and MES/WCS solutions.
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with NextGen Warehouse program lead, ERP Services leadership, Infosys and Digital Core teams to understand operational goals and translate requirements into scalable SAP EWM solutions.
+ Quality Assurance: Enforce LQP standards and ensure solutions adhere to SAP best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
+ Documentation: Oversee the development and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides and training materials.
+ Continuous Improvement: Monitor solution performance, identify opportunities for optimization and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and user experience.
+ Mentorship: Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
Basic Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or high school diploma/GED
+ 6+ years of SAP BASIS experience.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
+ Experience working with global teams and large-scale, multi-site deployments.
+ Exceptional communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ 2+ years specializing in SAP EWM solution architecture and implementation.
+ Experience leading end-to-end SAP EWM deployments in complex SAP environments.
+ Proficiency in SAP EWM configuration, enhancement and integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
+ Experience with S/4HANA, Fiori apps and cloud-based SAP deployments.
+ Professional certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate - Extended Warehouse Management or SAP Certified Technology Associate are highly desirable.
+ Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, agile environments and manage multiple priorities.
+ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams.
+ Excellent presentation and workshop facilitation abilities.
+ Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in SAP technologies.
+ Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches) a plus.
+ Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$126,000 - $224,400
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
