    As a Project Management Manager, you will plan and manage internal and external project team members and vendors, and coordinating requirements, scope and schedules.

    Job Description

    We are looking for a **Project Management Manager** to plan and manage internal and external project team members and vendors, and coordinating requirements, scope and schedules. This position will be **contract** and **hybrid** **in Trenton, NJ.**

    What You’ll Do

    + Design, plan, & coordinate work teams by following standard project management industry practices such as PMI framework.

    + Coordinate requirements, scope, and schedule, ensuring the overall satisfaction of stakeholders.

    + Manage resource allocation, IT task completion, and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external project team members including vendors.

    + Collaborate with multiple product managers to ensure the success of multiple assigned projects.

    + Coordination across multiple divisions, state agencies, and vendors.

     

    What You’ll Need

    Required:

    + 7+ years IT project management experience

    + 7+ years of demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-divisional projects with budgets exceeding $500K

    + 7+ years proven track record coordinating projects across multiple organizations, agencies, or vendor relationships

    + 7+ years’ experience mentoring project managers or team leads

    + 7+ years’ experience with project management software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar)

    + 7+ years working knowledge of multiple software development lifecycles (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative)

    + 7+ years understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration projects

    + 7+ years’ experience with change management processes and documentation systems

    + 7+ years’ experience and familiarity with budget management and financial tracking tools

    + 7+ years’ experience in advanced stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

    + Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

    + Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality simultaneously

    + 7+ years’ experience with risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies

    + Conflict resolution and team leadership skills

    + Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams of 10+ members

    + 7+ years’ experience coaching and developing junior project managers

    + Proven track record of leading high-performance teams across organizational boundaries

    + Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure

    + Experience facilitating meetings, workshops, and lessons learned sessions

    + Strong attention to detail

    Preferred:

    + 7+ years Government or public sector project experience strongly preferred

    Physical Demands

    + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards.

    + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

    + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor.

    $70.00 - $75.50 per hour

     

    The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
