    Job Description:

    The Senior Product Manager, US Wealth oversees the end-to-end management of assigned products, services and programs including features, benefits and characteristics that meet customer needs and are priced to meet the firms profit and loss objectives. The Product Manager manages a particular product or function supporting in the achievement of a business strategy. This role acts as a source for innovation led through customer insights and creating a better customer experience with a particular product. The role is accountable for business results and product sales, working with distribution teams to ensure revenue and volume targets are met.is expected to support the development and execution for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to the ongoing development and support of the Transactional Investment platform and solutions. Primary areas of focus include support for a full-service brokerage offering to including but not limited to Fixed Income, Structured Products, ETF, Equity, and Options.

     

    The Senior Product Manager-Wealth, is accountable for the development and execution for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to the ongoing development and support of the Advisory Investment platform and solutions.

     

    The Senior Product Manager will oversee and be responsible for the risk and quality management of all TD's managed programs as well as the investments available in each program. The Senior Product Manager -Wealth, will oversee and be responsible for the risk and quality management of TD's transactional platform(s) and solutions.

    + •Understanding the transactional brokerage platforms and all transactional brokerage products in competitive landscape to position TD in the most competitive way within TDs risk appetite.

    + •Subject matter expertise in full-service brokerage offering with depth in Structured Products, fixed income, equity, and options markets, including trading and pricing.

    + •Responsible for day-to-day management of Transactional Investment

    + •Responsible for establishing and updating trading rules and parameters

    Depth & Scope:

    + Subject Matter Expert with substantial knowledge/expertise in Wealth Management product offerings and platform design

    + Responsible for day-to-day product management and product development with mass or niche product/segment suite and moderate/high level of complexity with range of complex attributes

    + Responsible for platform risk management, creating and updating policies, procedures, and product documentation as needed due to internal changes or regulatory updates and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.

    + Supports management with business analysis for all projects or enhancements

    + Liaises with vendors to coordinate platform change management and solution enhancement

    + Collaborates with cross-functional teams across disciplines such as operations, technology, design, marketing, legal, compliance, risk, and relevant departments

    + Provides subject matter expertise for internal and external audits and regulatory exams

    + Manages 3rd Party platform vendors and partners to ensure risk and quality management of platforms and offering

    + Handles daily product management and product development responsibilities to make assigned products and programs robust and easier for the Advisors to utilize

    + Provides holistic solutions that brings together the firm's product shelf to meet the needs of clients

    + Translates data into actionable insights and recommendations that can improve the products features, functionality, usability, pricing, and value proposition

    + Performs financial analysis and revenue management

    + Gathers, analyzes, and interprets trends with data to answer critical business and product questions

    + Recommends and drives action to improve revenue and/or expense management

    + Champions the development of the annual business plan and monthly/quarterly forecast process

    + Supports and resolves sales team day to day questions and issues

    + Supports training efforts on new system/solution rollout

    + Works closely with marketing teams to develop and/or refine value propositions and competitive positioning for key solutions

    + Delivers financial results for the product/product suite via operation of all available levers: pricing, margin, volume etc., creates and delivers business cases to achieve strategic business results (acquisition, retention, customer experience, engagement and market share)

    Education & Experience:

    + Undergraduate degree or product management certificate, and/or

    + 7+ years relevant experience

    + Previous Product experience typically required

    + Advanced knowledge of and ability to conduct product research, product analysis and development, forecasting, pricing, competitive intelligence

    + Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends

    + Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of product initiatives

    + Ability to forecast and contribute to strategic direction of the product management function and provide advice to senior leadership

    + Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form

    + Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions

    + Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently

    + Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions

    + Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines

    + Skill in preparing and managing budgets and P&L

    + Knowledge of and/or skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques

    + Skill in using computer applications including MS Office

    + Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    + Licensing (Role Dependent): Series 7, 63 and 65 (or 66), Life & Health or willingness to get licensed to support various product lines

    + This position is with a FINRA member, broker and/or dealer and is subject to the requirements of FINRA and Securities Laws. May (or may not) be a registered position under FINRA.

    + Must be eligible for employment under standards established by FINRA. Subject to the investigation and verification requirements of FINRA Rule 3110(e), including: the Firm's obligation to _investigate_ the good character, business reputation, qualifications and experience of an applicant for registration _before_ applying to register the applicant with FINRA and filing the applicant's Form U4 with the CRD, and before representing on the applicant's Form U4 that it has conducted this investigation and verified the accuracy and completeness of the information contained in the applicant's Form U4; and the Firm's obligation to _verify_ the accuracy and completeness of the information contained on the applicant’s Form U4, no later than 30 calendar days after the Form U4 is filed with FINRA.

    + Satisfactory results on a criminal background check, credit report check, civil litigation search, and regulatory agency or self-regulatory organization enforcement action search, and statements/certification from job applicant regarding administrative, civil, and/or criminal findings by any government agency/authority or self-regulatory organization, are required by federal law for this position.
