Position classification
Hybrid -- Job duties and expectations allow for onsite and remote work scheduled every week. Employees in this classification are regularly scheduled onsite one (1) to four (4) days per week based on the County needs and as determined by Department Director. Hybrid classified roles can be onsite more than the set minimum based on employee preference.

What Success Looks Like In This Job
The IT Business Analyst plays a key role in aligning organizational goals with technology by analyzing business processes, translating needs into technical solutions, and supporting the implementation of scalable, value-driven systems. This role bridges strategy and execution, working closely with stakeholders to improve workflows, enable informed decision-making, and promote efficient, transparent operations. performs entry or junior-level analytical work to support the County’s Information Technology initiatives. Under general supervision, this position assists in gathering and documenting user requirements, analyzing business processes, and supporting system implementations. The role collaborates with stakeholders to understand operational needs and helps identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements. This position typically works on small-scale projects or as a junior team member on larger efforts. The Business Analyst II works on moderate to complex projects and serves as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure solutions meet County goals and compliance standards. The Business Analyst -Sr. works independently and may lead cross-functional project teams to deliver impactful, sustainable outcomes.

Strategic Alignment & Process Improvement
