Job Description:
Essential Duties:
+ Pack products according to specifications.
+ Maintain pace of production output standards
+ Remove product from line, inspect for visual defects and correct tolerances according to specifications.
+ Count and place correct amounts in primary and master cartons as instructed.
+ Perform machine adjustments as instructed to keep product in spec, as needed.
+ Maintain a clean and safe environment which may include sweeping, removing trash and scrubbing work areas when necessary.
+ Take direction from Operator to meet product quality and production output standards.
+ Assist in line clearance activities.
+ Perform tasks as outlined in route sheets or documented procedures.
+ Must be able to work the schedule to which you are assigned. Work schedules are subject to change. Normal work week 40 hours per week. Work overtime as needed to maintain job schedules.
+ Pack on various product lines based on business necessity.
+ Must be able to use required quality and testing equipment, (such as templates, rulers, scales, etc.).
+ Conduct quality checks per documented instructions and record results.
+ Report problems to the employee in charge of a particular workstation that affect set standards and outputs of workstations.
+ Perform end of job returns and record as required.
+ Train new employees on workstations per documented instructions.
+ Move/stack raw materials and finished products.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Other Competencies:
+ Skilled in reading, writing and counting.
+ Willingness/ability to be trained to work on all product lines.
+ Ability to learn/use a computer and/or digital/computerized equipment when necessary.
+ Ability to work with other employees.
+ Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
Compensation Information:
$15 - $16/hr
