General Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our sales efforts for Tactical and Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Test Equipment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute sales strategies, manage key accounts, lead a high-performing sales team, expand our reseller coverage in international regions, and grow our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the tactical and LMR test equipment market and a proven track record of achieving sales targets in a high-tech environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
+ Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
+ Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive sales growth.
+ Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
Team Leadership and Development:
+ Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
+ Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
+ Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture.
Market and Account Management:
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the tactical and LMR test equipment industry.
+ Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
+ Manage and grow existing accounts to maximize revenue potential.
Expanding Reseller Coverage in International Regions:
+ Identify and establish relationships with potential resellers and distributors in targeted international markets.
+ Develop and implement strategies to expand reseller networks and coverage.
+ Provide training and support to resellers to ensure they are well-equipped to represent our products and services.
Sales Operations:
+ Oversee the development of sales proposals, contracts, and pricing strategies.
+ Monitor and analyze sales metrics and KPIs to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
+ Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting to senior management.
Product and Industry Knowledge:
+ Maintain in-depth knowledge of our tactical and LMR test equipment products and services.
+ Stay informed about industry developments, trends, and competitors’ activities.
+ Provide input to product development teams based on customer feedback and market demands.
Job Specifications:

+ Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, particularly in international markets.
+ Strong understanding of tactical communications, LMR systems, and related test equipment.
+ Experience in developing and managing reseller networks in international regions.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
+ Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
+ Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
+ High level of integrity and professional ethics.
Education/Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the tactical or LMR test equipment industry.
Computer Skills:
+ Proficiency in CRM software
+ Sales analytics tools,
+ Excel & Word
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job will have supervisory responsibility, with the ability to build a team.
