Sales Support Administrator
Job Description
This is a full-time, 100% on-site position within a small office environment. We are adding to our team and looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Administrator to assist Account Managers with back office work and day-to-day customer support needs. This role is not just task-oriented; it requires someone who can provide innovative solutions and work effectively with the sales team. Strong computer skills are essential, as you will navigate between five different systems daily. This position offers growth opportunities to move into an Account Manager role.
Responsibilities
+ Support three Account Managers with customer needs and assist other account managers based on work volumes.
+ Enter customer orders and quotes into the computer system and process Return Authorizations.
+ Research and follow up on customer orders, including making occasional phone calls to supplier partners, corporate office teams, and customers.
+ Obtain Proof of Deliveries from customers and ensure open order reports are current.
+ Work extensively in Microsoft Excel for order entry and reporting purposes.
+ Perform general clerical tasks such as email and phone correspondence and filing.
+ Research products not currently in the sales portfolio.
+ Enter, process, and maintain quality event records and follow up with customers regarding Accounts Receivable when needed.
+ Demonstrate a positive attitude, be a self-starter, and work independently and as part of a team.
+ Exhibit strong attention to detail and ensure quality is maintained.
+ Communicate effectively with strong phone and interpersonal skills.
+ Embrace challenges and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Essential Skills
+ Previous sales experience, including retail, for a minimum of 1 year.
+ Experience working with the general public.
+ Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple screens, with at least 1 year of experience.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
+ Administrative and order entry experience for at least 1 year.
+ Strong attention to detail in previous roles, with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
+ Excellent customer service skills, comfortable with phone and sales work.

+ Ability to work well with a sales team and provide solutions beyond task completion.
Work Environment
This position requires working 100% on-site, with initial training conducted virtually. The role supports a team of salespeople in a small office environment. The work schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. This opportunity offers a small team atmosphere within a large company, providing room for growth into a Sales role and a stepping stone for new hires to learn about company logistics.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
