Job Title: Contract AnalystJob Description
As a Contract Analyst, you will be responsible for managing contracts within the rebar and services group. Your primary duties include negotiating, reviewing, redlining, and signing contracts up to $1 million. The role involves minimizing contractual risks to protect company assets and requires direct negotiation with customers to reach fair and reasonable terms.
Responsibilities
+ Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions directly with customers from preliminary discussions through finalizing negotiations.
+ Engage in discussions with the business during all phases of negotiations and communicate with customers to resolve any issues.
+ Collaborate with the Legal Department as needed.
+ Obtain direction or exception approval from the business on unresolved items of concern.
+ Verify credit approval for jobs exceeding $100,000.
+ Sign contracts up to $1,000,000 and return signed contracts to the customer.
+ Update SalesForce with information on processed contracts, insurance, bonds, and certificates of insurance.
+ Order payment and performance bonds and supply bonds as required by the contracts.
+ Order insurance certificates in accordance with contractual requirements.
+ Review insurance certificates prior to annual renewal for the Risk Department.
+ Review bonds semi-annually to determine completed jobs.
+ Collaborate with key stakeholders and maintain relationships with internal teams, ensuring a service-oriented approach while meeting tight deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree is preferred.
+ Three years of contract review experience, including two years of contract negotiation experience, is required.
+ Experience in the construction industry and collaboration with sales teams on contracting activities.
+ Knowledge of construction-related contracts, contractual terms and conditions, risk minimization/avoidance, insurance requirements, and bonds.
Work Environment
The position is based at the headquarters in Irving, TX. The role involves close collaboration with the credit collections group and reports up through the VP or AR/Credit team. The team currently consists of three analysts and one supervisor.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
