Job Description

This analyst plays a crucial role in coordinating data elements for products in our assortment. This role involves managing new item introductions, item expansions, and test items while ensuring effective communication and coordination with vendor contacts. Coordinators are expected to execute product information exchanges between master systems and vendors efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate new product setup information with vendors, paying close attention to distribution types and internal strategic initiatives.

+ Build and maintain relationships with business units and vendors.

+ Extract product information from systems using SQL, Access, and proprietary systems.

+ Synchronize product information between vendor communications and systems using advanced Excel skills.

+ Review product information for completeness and accuracy, escalating issues as needed.

+ Complete and submit product information change request forms for approval and processing.

+ Review systems for inconsistencies and inaccuracies in product information.

+ Research issues to identify root causes and recommend resolutions.

+ Execute cross-functional tasks based on workload priorities and volume.

+ Coordinate product information changes with vendors and category managers to align assortments.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree required.

+ 2 years of experience in retail products.

+ Experience with SQL and Access is a plus.

+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

+ Advanced knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUPs, IF Statements, and Pivot Tables.

+ Ability to operate effectively in a high-volume environment with minimal errors.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Thorough understanding of retail/inventory attributes.

+ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

+ Capability to learn quickly and adapt to custom tools and systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
