Job Title: Sr Tax ManagerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sr Tax Manager with a focus on tax-related matters to join our team. This role requires a minimum of five years of public accounting experience and a strong desire to understand clients' business and tax environments. The ideal candidate will provide proactive year-round tax planning and enjoy working with a diverse range of clients. Responsibilities

+ Perform technical reviews of tax returns of varying types and complexities.

+ Manage client relationships, assess client needs, and develop strategies and solutions to provide clients with the highest level of service.

+ Prepare complex business, fiduciary, and individual tax returns.

+ Provide mentorship to other tax staff and assist in the growth, development, and training of the team.

+ Engage in business development activities.

Essential Skills

+ A minimum of 5+ years of public accounting experience.

+ Active CPA certification or recently expired, with assistance provided for reactivation.

+ Solid experience with corporate tax preparation, planning, and tax returns of multi-state, high net-worth clientele.

+ Proficiency in tax/audit software, with CHH ProSystem experience preferred.

+ Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft software applications.

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with fixed asset software.

+ Experience working within a mid-sized or large firm.

+ Experience working with construction or non-profit client bases.

+ Exemplary soft skills such as integrity, promptness, trustworthiness, reliability, and excellence.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
