Position Overview

Independence Home Loans is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Lock Desk Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing interest rate locks for mortgage loans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and competitive pricing strategies. Key Responsibilities

+ Manage and monitor interest rate lock requests for mortgage loans.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

+ Analyze pricing strategies and interest rate risk to optimize profitability.

+ Collaborate with internal teams to resolve lock-related issues promptly.

+ Maintain accurate records and documentation within mortgage systems.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

+ Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage operations, with emphasis on interest rate lock management or secondary marketing.

+ Strong understanding of mortgage products, pricing strategies, and interest rate risk management.

+ Proficiency with mortgage industry software (e.g., Encompass, Optimal Blue, MERS).

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.

+ High attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and customer service.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $65000.00/yr.

Benefits: On the first of the month, following a 30-day waiting period, IHL oers a full range ofbenefits for you and your qualified dependents outlined in the Employee Benefits Guide, subject tothe satisfaction of any eligibility requirements and subject to the terms of such benefit programs.
