In this role, you will be responsible for establishing excellence in global Seed quality control activities and methods to achieve product quality in alignment with the global quality management system. You will need to be able to travel up to 30% overnight domestically and internationally.

+ Establishing excellence in global seed quality control activities.
+ Being responsible as business expert and process owner to lead the design and implementation of systems which will support Quality and Production operations across the globe.
+ Leading the strategy, process development, budget, timeline, and implementation of our global LIMS tool, and others, in multiple crops / countries, and in addition, lead the current maintenance and enhancements forexisting crops / countries.
+ Providing transparency and reporting of quality control results and trends to drive evaluation and prioritization of continual improvement opportunities through quality assurance and quality management activities.
+ Being a core member of our Operation Excellence Team, achieving operational excellence and driving business strategy and execution.
+ Collaborating with regional operational and supply chain leaders, as wellas with colleagues across BASF, to ensure alignment and successful execution of the program.
+ Utilizing your audit expertise, knowledge, and experience with international quality standards, such as ISO9001, ISO 17025, as well as the continuous improvement process in order to ensure that processes meet international and national regulations and standards as applicable.
If you...
+ Hold a BS Degree in Agronomy, Supply Chain, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Information Technology or Business Management or related. MS degree preferred.
+ Have a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt (or willingness to achieve) preferred.
+ Hold a Master Scrum (or willingness to achieve) and/ or Lead Auditor (or willingness to achieve) - preferred.
+ Have 8+ years of experience working in Operations and Quality, 5+ years of experience working in Operation Excellence roles and 7+ years of plant based, biological and/or seeds lab experience, you will set requirements and audit QMSactivities in the labs according to global and local specific procedures, protocols and work instructions.
+ Have LIMS / SAP QM expertise and project management skills to lead global lab system strategy, budget, timeline,and project management.
+ Have a strong track record in leading, implementing and managing projects and in leading, implementing and managing operational excellence initiatives and improvement processes.
+ Are capable to drive cultural change while being a strong communicator and influencer of key CI strategic initiatives.
