    **Job Title:** Power Systems Monitor – 24/7 Coverage

    Company Overview:

    A leading biotechnology company committed to advancing scientific innovation and supporting critical research is seeking dedicated individuals to support our operations by monitoring essential backup power systems, ensuring continuity of our facilities.

    Position Summary:

    The Power Systems Monitor is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of the facility’s backup power generators. This role requires constant attention to generator status, performing regular checks, and escalating any issues to the designated contact.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Monitor on-site backup generators continuously, ensuring operational readiness 24/7 through the end of the year.

    + Conduct generator checks every 15 minutes, either from your vehicle or inside the facility, with brief walks to inspect the equipment as needed.

    + Log each check in the designated logbook, noting the operational status and any anomalies.

    + Immediately report any irregularities or malfunctions to the designated contact and follow any further instructions.

    + Maintain a safe and professional presence while on-site, following all company safety protocols.

    Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Reliable transportation to and from the site.

    + Ability to remain attentive for extended periods and conduct routine checks consistently.

    + Strong communication skills for prompt reporting of issues.

    + Previous experience in monitoring or basic technical systems is a plus but not required.

    Work Schedule:

    + 24/7 coverage with rotating 12-hour shifts
