Job Title: Mechanical Engineer II
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: 37/hour
Job Summary:
The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for managing data quality, executing tests, and analyzing results. The role requires hands-on work and direct interaction with test requestors. Candidates with a coding background are considered a bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct testing, validation, and verification of mechanical systems
+ Perform Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)
+ Apply 7-Step Problem Solving methodology
+ Analyze process capability and perform data analysis
+ Interface with test requestors to ensure accuracy and completeness of testing
+ Utilize MATLAB for data evaluation and test support
+ Contribute to process improvements and technical documentation
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
+ 2–4 years of relevant experience in testing and data analysis
+ Strong understanding of data quality management and process validation
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Coding experience or background is a plus
