We are looking for you to join our team as a **General Manufacturing Manager 2** based out of **Baltimore, MD** .
You will be responsible for the direct supervision of 10 to 15 professional and represented (union) employees in our Production Control Organization supporting our manufacturing team.
What You’ll Get to Do:
+ Manages the controlled flow of material and hardware from receipt into a manufacturing area through delivery to the customer
+ Directs and coordinates the activities to plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules, in conjunction with Material Requirements Planning, to meet production/delivery requirements
+ Oversee the status of work in process, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are available, as needed
+ Manages the priority and scheduling of equipment and personnel, the confirmation of material supply and demand, and the preparation of work order or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements
+ Provides specific direction and training, as required
+ Utilizes both internal and external resources, and coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, inventory control, transportation, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant manufacturing experience; Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience; 12 years of relevant manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
+ Experience managing or leading people and/or processes
+ Experience working in manufacturing with a strong understanding of production concepts
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Level Clearance is required
+ U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Active U.S. Secret Security Level Clearance
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, or Logistics
+ Experience with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
+ Experience working in a union represented environment
+ Experience with statistical analysis such as SPC (Statistical Process Control)

Primary Level Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $168,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
