Job Description:
CBAD Performance IPT Lead is expected to lead a diverse and graphically separated team to analyze mission effectiveness of CBAD against various threats. The Lead is expected to manage the team decomposing missions, conducting operational analysis, and evaluating system performance through MODSIM. This team will also develop and execute models to analyze effectiveness of system CONOP. Threat models will need to be created based on intel reports, best simulated adversary systems and characterizing their performance and vulnerabilities. The Lead will manage design of experiments to assess system trade-offs, conduct system of system assessments, and evaluate defeat mechanisms.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
+ Sr. Principal: 8 Years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters; 3 Years with PhD
+ Strong technical and analytical background
+ Dynamic modeling background with experience in reduced order modeling
+ Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or similar programming languages
+ Experienced distilling complex relationships and results into easy-to-understand presentations and reports
+ Experienced in leading MODSIM development teams and efforts in line with description
+ Experienced with validating models with real-world test results
+ Willingness to travel to support customer engagements (<25%)
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Clearance: TS
+ Experience with MODSIM tools such as AFSIM or STK
+ Operational background to apply personal experiences in military to MODSIM
+ Familiarity with CBAD subsystems (guided ammunition, radar, cannons, comms equipment, C2, etc.)
+ Data science or advanced analytics experience
+ Familiar with Agile development and use of JIRA
Primary Level Salary Range: $131,100.00 - $196,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
