    **Job Title:** Human Resources Generalist

    **Location:** Greer, SC

    **Industry:** automotive manufacturing

    **Status of Hire:** contract assignment

    **Duration of Assignment:** 4 months, could go longer

    **Compensation:** $40-43/hr

    Responsibilities

    • First point of contact for employees and managers:

    o Employee/Manager coaching

    o Employee advocacy, engagement, and recognition

    o Conflict Resolution, facilitate employee communication

    o Responsible for responding to employee questions and inquiries about employee benefit programs and human resources policies

    • Designs and administers human resources policies and procedures

    • Administers payroll, benefits; processes payroll for hourly staff, conducts open enrollment and coordination of all benefits

    • Training/Performance Management: create and maintain training programs for the facility, record, and report training hours, facilitate Career Development and Succession Planning

    • Collects and analyzes HR data related to staffing, employee relations, training, and recruitment to determine improvements to be made and report to management

    • Ensures human resources strategies align with organizational business goals

    • Oversees and establishes procedures for paperwork completion for functional area

    • Prepares internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies

    • Maintains information systems, prepares appropriate documentation, and processes necessary paperwork

    • May be involved in some Recruiting/Staffing efforts, which would include recruiting for mostly non-exempt and hourly positions as needed, coordinates with on-site temporary agencies to fulfill positions

    • Processes HR department applications, including employment and enrollment applications; maintains attendance and employment records, and compiles statistics for various HR management reports

    • Maintains HR compliance via thorough documentation and reporting, and leads workplace investigations as needed

    • Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function

    Required Qualifications

    • At least 5 years of related HR experience in an automotive manufacturing environment

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred

    • Proven history of success leading an HR team and being a contributing team member in a functional group

    • Comfortable being on the production floor, interacting with production associates, troubleshooting issues, performing investigations, asking the right questions, and committing to effective follow up

    • Able to simultaneously manage day-to-day employee relations and larger HR Projects such as on-boarding surges and new system/process/procedure implementations

    • Experience creating and implementing talent development, recruitment, or training plans, etc.

    • Must be proficient in all Federal & State Laws- EEOC, Workers Comp, ERISA, ADA, FMLA

    **Must be authorized to work in the United States, client is not able to offer sponsorship at this time

    **Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check to be eligible for hire
