    **Role Title** : Solution Architect - Intune and MECM

    **Location** : Remote

    **Mandatory Skills** : Intune, MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager)

    Role of Solution Architects

    • Lead the technical assessment and migration strategy for moving from Altiris to MECM/Intune, ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with business needs.

    • Analyze current software deployment and packaging processes, compare them with MECM/Intune capabilities, and identify necessary architectural changes.

    • Review and interpret extensive documentation on existing systems to quickly understand and address technical requirements.

    • Provide options (approach A/B), estimate required customizations, and assess migration effort, focusing on leveraging out-of-the-box features and minimizing custom work.

    • Advise on best practices for software packaging, deployment, and orchestration within MECM/Intune, including any required customizations for large enterprise environments.

    • Collaborate with internal and external teams, participate in plan reviews, and help define the team structure and resource needs for migration.

    • Ensure the technical solution supports a rapid exit from Altiris, with a target to complete planning and begin execution within a tight timeline.

    Required Skills for Solution Architects

    • Deep expertise in Intune and MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager); these are the primary mandatory skills.

    • Strong understanding of software deployment and packaging processes, including how packaging is done today and how it should be done natively in MECM/Intune.

    • Ability to analyze and translate current processes and scripts (e.g., VB scripts) into MECM/Intune-native solutions, identifying necessary architectural changes.

    • Experience with Company Portal and its business application within Intune.

    • Familiarity with Flexera and Flexera One, especially for IT asset management and integration into enterprise architecture.

    • Experience in large enterprise environments, particularly with SCCM to MECM to Intune migrations, and handling complex orchestration and customization needs.

    • Capability to quickly absorb and utilize extensive documentation and existing process literature.

    The annual salary for this position is between $114,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
