    Position Details:

    Shift: Every other Monday 7:30am–3:30pm, and every Tuesday–Thursday 7:30am–7:30pm (alternating 36/44 hour weeks)

     

    Pay: $22-25/hr depending on education and experience

     

    Duration : Temporary Contract – approximately 4-5 months.

    What to expect as a Coating Operator:

    Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for safety and precision? We're looking for aCoating Operatorto join our full-scale manufacturing plant. You'll be part of a dynamic operations team responsible for everything from machine prep and operation to testing, packaging, and cleaning.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment

    + Handle incoming materials and prepare systems for production

    + Perform quality testing and packaging

    + Clean machines, parts, and work areas using solvents and other tools

    + Follow strict safety protocols including PPE (uniforms, safety glasses, conductive footwear, gloves, respirators)

    + Work in Production, marshalling area, quality lab, and flush room (solvent use required)

    Required Skills & Education:

    + High School Diploma

    + Experience working with chemicals and machinery

    + Strong work ethic and decision-making skills

    + Effective verbal and written communication

    + Mechanical troubleshooting and quality control experience

    + Team player with the ability to work independently

    + Basic computer skills (Excel, Word) and solid math skills

    + Good manual dexterity for cleaning and assembly tasks

    + Must be able to carry, push, pull and lift up to 50#
