    Salary- 185k-195k/yr

    Position Overview

    We are seeking experienced **Systems Engineers** to support a high-impact government customer. This technology-focused role involves designing and managing **enterprise computing infrastructure** , including cloud services, network access, virtual applications, and secure computing environments across **multi-cloud platforms** .

     

    You’ll be a key contributor in building modern, secure, and scalable cloud architectures and working with cross-functional engineering teams in a mission-critical setting.

    Required Education, Experience & Skills

    + **Minimum 11 years** of relevant experience in IT systems engineering

    + **Bachelor’s or Master’s degree** in Computer Science (preferred)

    + Strong experience across **AWS** , **Google Cloud** , and/or **Azure** , including:

    + **AWS** : EC2, Security Groups, VPCs, ENIs, Elastic & Ephemeral IPs

    + **Azure** : Resource Groups, NICs, NSGs, VNets, Virtual Machines

    + **GCP** : Compute Engine, Firewalls, VPCs, Network Interfaces

    + Hands-on understanding of **Terraform** for cloud orchestration across providers

    + Solid Linux experience: package management, navigating filesystems, running scripts, managing system services

    + Software development experience with **Python 3**

    + Version control using **Git**

    + Familiarity with **DevOps** , **GitHub** , and development in **Java** and **Python**

    + Comfortable conducting security reviews of applications and infrastructure

    + Collaborative team player, able to work with diverse technical skill sets

    Preferred Skills & Technologies

    + Infrastructure automation tools: **Docker** , **Vagrant** , **Podman**

    + Build automation platforms: **Jenkins** , **Maven**

    + Experience with REST API development using **FastAPI** , **Flask** , or **Django**

    + Familiarity with **Perl** , **Shell** , **Bash** scripting

    + Exposure to **Ansible** , **Kubernetes** , and Linux system configuration

    + Cloud architecture experience with **AWS** , **Oracle** , or **Google Cloud**

    + Programming experience in **Java** , **Python** , **Ruby** , **JavaScript** , and **Bash**
