Position Summary
Lenovo is seeking a technical leader tooverseeour AIAgentDevelopmentteam. In this high-impact role, you willcreate the framework and drivethedevelopment ofcutting-edgeAI capabilities across Lenovo devices and platforms–from on-device inference to cloud-enabled workloads.Your team will play a critical role inbringingcutting-edgeresearch into real-world products. Your mission is to turn the latest advances in LLMs and reasoning models into robust agents that run at scaleanddelight users.You will guide your team in designing and evaluating agent workflows that are reliable, efficient, and aligned with user needs in resource-constrained environments.You will workhand-in-handwith product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to craft AI agents that solve real customer pain points.

Key Responsibilities
+ Lead and mentor a team of engineers working on agentic workflowsthat work on-device, across-device, andon-cloud.
+ Set technical direction, prioritize projects, and ensuretimelydelivery of high-quality outcomes.
+ Foster collaboration acrossglobally distributed andengineering teamsand organizations.
+ Agentic Workflow Design & Development
+ Architect and implement multi-step agent workflows including task decomposition,function/tool calling, robustness, and recovery strategies.
+ Maximizeagent performance throughprompt engineering and context management for efficient on-device executionand/orbest experience usingpublic cloud models.
+ Lead team efforts in fine-tuning and adaptation using PEFT if needed.
+ Utilizemultimodal embeddings, vector databases, and graph databases to support agent memory and knowledge.
+ Incorporate human-in-the-loopmechanismsforambiguity,safety,and reliability.
+ Build tools to automate the development of agentic workflows, speeding time-to-adoption.
+ Evaluation & Benchmarking
+ Develop andmaintainevaluation datasets for agent behavior, robustness, and performance.
+ Define success metrics and continuousevaluationpipelines for agent workflows.
+ Establish andmaintainreproducible workflows, automation pipelines, and release-readiness criteria.
+ Stayup-to-datewith the latest advancements in large language models, training techniques, and related technologies.
Required Qualifications
+ Experience:7+ years inproductionsoftware development, includingAI/ML engineering, with3+ years in leadership roles.
+ Strong technical background in AI/ML, LLMs, and agentic workflows.
+ Proventrack recordinagenticdevelopment.
+ Expertisein prompt engineering,LoRAfine-tuning, RAGsystems, embeddings, and vector databases.
+ Experience usingLangGraph,LangChain,AutoGen, or similar agent frameworks.
+ Deep understanding of multi-step reasoningand human-in-the-loop systems.
+ Familiarity with evaluation dataset design and model robustness testing.
+ Data & Telemetry: Building feedback loops from runtime telemetry to guide retraining, routing, and optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Graduate degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, AI/ML, Computational Engineering, or related field.
+ Experience delivering AI features in consumer electronics or embedded platforms.
+ Practical experience dealing withcontext length challengesfor on-device inference.
+ Track recordof collaboration with research institutions and contributions to open-source AI optimization libraries.
+ History of ensuring secure deploymentsand adherence to privacy regulations, other security best practices.
+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
