    Responsible for minimizing claims and exceptions for the service center and following up with sales and operations on issues with accounts. Supervise the daily operation of the OS&D area to also include team staffing decisions and performance monitoring of employees.

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Minimize claims and exceptions on freight

    + Supervise tasks and performance of OS&D Clerks and assist where needed in those duties

    + Coordinate with company drivers on exceptions at time of delivery and enter information of that correspondence in the system

    + Process overages, damages, refused shipments in a timely manner

    + Process pictures of bad loads taken daily and forward for correction to original service center locations

    + Camera Investigation in efforts to locate overages, shortages, and damages and resolve issues

    + Contribute to and present in Claims Prevention Meetings

    + Audit delivery receipts and bill of ladings for local drivers to ensure proper procedures are followed

    + Process shortage reports and start investigations based off those reports

    + Monitor claims watch and new customer accounts for any claim issues

    + Review open claims for assigned terminal and check for reoccurring issues

    + Communicate with customers on damaged and/or missing loads

    + Provides positive and constructive feedback, including disciplinary action to employees regarding job performance as it relates to the general job requirements of those employees they lead.

    + Assist in interviewing and making hiring, termination and promotional decisions

    Job Qualifications

    Education:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required

    + Bachelor’s degree preferred

     

    ​

    Experience:

    + 2 years of experience with operations and/or customer service, preferably in the transportation industry

    + Supervisory experience preferred

    + Working knowledge of AS400 and Microsoft Office

    + Good verbal and written communication skills

    + Strong interpersonal skills

    Working Days:

    Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,

    Working Shift:

    Shift and hours to be determined.
