Position Description
ServicesCompany(SERCO) is seekinga **Technical** **Trainer** **–** **Operations Officer** to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting our Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) at **Fort Leavenworth, Kansas** . The MCTPtrains Brigade, Division, and Corps Commanders and theirstaffsduring simulation-driven command post Warfighter Exercises (WFX) in support of Large-Scale Combat Operations and across Multi-Domain Operations.
Responsibilities:
+ Principal duty istheoperationsofficerforthe Headquarters Support Team.Serves as the operationsofficerandis responsible forensuringsmoothdaily operations.Manages information flow, understandsthe operational environmentto includeplanning,preparationand execution of War Fighter Exercise’s(WFXs)and daily garrison operations in supportofHST Headquarters team.
+ Preparesandmaintainstracking mechanismsthat supportWarfighter exercisespersonnel rosters,hotelscheduling,maintainstraining records,and daily functionssupportinggarrison operations.
+ Maintainssituational awarenesswith regards toallExerciseLifecycle(ELC) planning events.
+ TheOperations Officerwill have anadditionalduty as an Exercise Support Planner (as needed) to support Warfighter exercises:
+ As required, be prepared to execute youradditionalduty as an Exercise Support Planner (ESP). This involves attending planning meetings, writing, publishing, and delivering Exercise Life Cycle Event Contract Deliverables (CDRL).
+ As required, be prepared to execute youradditionalduty and travel as an Exercise Support Planner during Warfighter exercise to receive equipment, support the HST leadership and Exercise control (EXCON) during Warfighter exercises.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
+ **An active DoD Secret security clearance**
+ **U.S Citizenship Required**
+ One of the following:
+ High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8years of professional leadership experience
+ Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional leadership experience
+ Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of professional leadership experience
+ Familiar with current Army/Joint doctrine
+ Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)
+ Must be able to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas
+ Must be able to travel as needed both CONUS and OCONUS (up to 25% of the time)
Preferred Qualifications:
+ U.S. Army Command and General Staff Officer Course, or MEL 4 equivalent Intermediate Level Education (ILE)
+ A minimum of 2 years ofexperience in design, planning, configuration, and conduct of large-scale computer simulation exercises
+ Previousexperience in computerassistedsimulation training

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $67,889.77 to $113,149.62; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
