    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    The Financial Navigator II is a patient-facing position responsible for pre-service financial clearance. This position improves the patient’s financial experience by providing transparency on payer requirements and the patient’s estimated personal financial liability, and by connecting patients with Financial Counseling pre-service if appropriate. This position also provides concierge service and way-finding to ensure a smooth process for patient arrival and check- in. The primary role of the Financial Navigator II is to work directly with our patients with the most complex financial situations. This may be related to having resources from multiple payers or on-going conditions that produce financially significant costs. The purpose of the Financial Navigation team is to ensure that patients' financial concerns do not create a barrier to receiving clinical care.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

    + High School Diploma required

    + Minimum one (1) year of experience in registration-related position or Financial Counselor required

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

    + One (1) year pre-certification experience preferred

    + Associates Degree preferred
