    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Project Housing & Accommodation Manager to plan, secure, and manage local housing and lodging arrangements to support our long-term construction operations in the Homer City PA area. This position will oversee all aspects of workforce housing—sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining agreements with hotels, apartments, and other housing providers—to ensure safe, cost-effective, and efficient living accommodations for project personnel over the next seven years.

     

    The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and negotiation skills, local market knowledge, and experience managing vendor relationships or workforce logistics.

    Kiewit Power Constructors offers integrated engineering, procurement, construction and startup service needs, specializing in gas and coal-fired power generation, coal retrofit and renewable energy. From concept to commercialization, our full suite of EPC and startup services set industry standards for quality design and superior functionality in delivering power projects throughout North America.

    Responsibilities

    Housing Procurement & Contracts

    + Identify, evaluate, and negotiate housing and lodging options (hotels, apartments, rental homes, etc.) within the project area.

    + Develop and manage housing contracts and service agreements with landlords, property managers, and hospitality providers.

    + Ensure all housing arrangements comply with company policies, budgets, and local regulations.

    Housing Management

    + Maintain an up-to-date inventory of available and occupied units.

    + Coordinate employee check-in/check-out, lease renewals, and terminations.

    + Track costs and occupancy data, and prepare housing status reports for project management.

    + Ensure housing conditions meet safety, quality, and comfort standards.

    Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

    + Serve as the primary contact for property owners, landlords, and management companies.

    + Liaise with internal departments (HR, Finance, Construction Management, Safety) to align housing needs with workforce schedules.

    + Handle issues or disputes related to accommodations promptly and professionally.

    Budgeting & Cost Control

    + Monitor housing-related expenses to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with project budgets.

    + Identify opportunities to reduce housing costs through contract negotiations or alternative arrangements.

    Qualifications

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Administration, Hospitality, Logistics, or related field).

    + 3–5 years of experience in property management, corporate housing, logistics coordination, or similar roles.

    + Strong negotiation and communication skills.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic contract management tools.

    + Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple agreements simultaneously.

    + Experience in the construction or industrial project environment is a plus.
