    What the day will look like

     

    Aon Service Corporation seeks a Technology Delivery Leader, US IT Sr. Manager reporting to headquarters in Chicago, Illinois to manage information technology projects. Lead teams of software developers, testers, and designers to build global software solutions. Use N-tier architecture to develop software applications. Build cloud applications using Azure. Communicate, monitor, and ensure delivery team remains aligned with business and technical objectives. Serve as Scrum coach and implement Agile principles and Scrum methodology. Collaborate with software architects and software developers to improve software designs and address technical challenges. Develop cloud-based applications using Azure PaaS services, ensuring that applications include AKS, App Service Plan, Storage Accounts, KeyVault, Managed Identities, Data Factory, Event Hub, Event Grid, and Cosmos DB functions. Oversee budgets for information technology projects. Write RESTful APIs using .NET 5/6/7 using domain driven design. Develop and support product roadmaps, backlog refinement, and technical debt management. Identify opportunities to implement new technology. Build website components using HTML, JavaScript, and UX principles. Build and deploy IT tools to enhance productivity. Create and update technical documentation. Design and participate in code reviews. Ensure that IT and software applications are built with foundational security principles, including SAML/Oauth, encryption secrets, and token management. Identify and remove blockers before they become problematic. Manage direct reports. Telecommuting available 5 days a week. Annual Salary: $122,900 - $204,800.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

     

    Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field, plus three years of information technology experience. Must have at least three years of experience in each of the following: 1. Leading teams of software developers, testers, and designers to build global software solutions; 2. Using N-tier architecture to develop software applications; 3. Serving as Scrum coach and implementing Agile principles and Scrum methodology; 4. Developing cloud-based applications using Azure PaaS services, ensuring that applications include AKS, App Service Plan, Storage Accounts, KeyVault, Managed Identities, Data Factory, Event Hub, Event Grid, and Cosmos DB functions; 5. Writing RESTful APIs using .NET 5/6/7 using domain driven design; 6. Ensuring that IT and software applications are built with foundational security principles, including SAML/Oauth, encryption secrets, and token management; and 7. Managing direct reports.

    The salary range for this position is $122,900 - $204,800 annually.
