Zurich North America is hiring a Security Engineering Analystto join our team! We are open to hiring talent in our Schaumburg office location.
Purpose:
Supports the execution of information security architecture initiatives by documenting, configuring, deploying and maintaining moderately complex security technologies. Assist with Information Security projects to deliver the business requirements and functional design of the system solution and testing strategy.
Key Accountabilities:
+ Assist in the rapid execution of information security initiatives by maintaining an appropriate level of prioritization, focus and persistence
+ Assess the security posture of applications and infrastructure.
+ Analyze internal security and business needs and desired results and contribute to development of software solutions with responsibility for the delivery of software applications, with limited guidance.
+ Develop project plans for small projects or work streams of larger projects/programs and drive assist in the execution of these plans to ensure project success.
+ Act as a project assurance representative and provide security subject matter guidance on security projects.
+ Establish and maintain appropriate communication, engagement and escalation with stakeholders as needed.
+ Serve as knowledge source for the escalation of moderately complex application design and development issues
+ Contributes to the solution design (including metrics and measures) and implementation, including associated change management activities.
+ Maintains project records in accordance with Zurich Project Management standards.
+ Business Travel, as required
+ Extended Hours during Peak Periods/Shift Work/Holiday Work, as required
+ Regular Predictable Attendance
+ Visibility in the Office, as required
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelors Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Information Security areaOR
+ Zurich Cybersecurity Technician Apprentice, including including Cyber Security Certification and 4 or more years of experience in the Information Security areaOR
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Information Security areaAND
+ Solution engineering or security architecture experience
+ Experience working in information security transformation with cross-functional teams
PreferredQualifications:
+ Information technology certifications; CISA, CISM, CISSP, Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle, Palo Alto
+ Customer service experience
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Cloud Engineering Experience
At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. In compliance with local laws, Zurich commits to providing a fair and reasonable compensation range for each role. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $81,800.00 - $133,900.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
