Director, WKUCCC Head Start and Child Care

The WKUCCC Head Start/Child Care Director plans and directs the daily operation of WKUCCC. WKUCCC includes a preschool Head Start, an Early Head Start and a child care program. The Director is responsible for ensuring that WKUCCC follows the required Federal, state, local and WKU standards and policies. Over-site of the program includes supervising staff, regular on-going monitoring of the program.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
+ Carry out the day- to- day administration and supervision of WKU Head Start/Early Head Start grants iin the implementation of the services provided to children and families ages birth through five-years-old.
+ Act as liaison between community agencies and WKUCCC and assist in development of the referral systems and procedures between Head Start/EHS and the community..
+ Ensure all WKU systems are followed, including the hiring and evaluation processes. Provide regular reports to immediate supervisor regarding the programmatic achievement of goals and ensure communication is shared in appropriate and timely manner.
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood, Human Resources, Social Work, Health or a related degree

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
