SWAN Outpatient clinic is hiring a COTA/Full Time in Phoenix, AZ! Join our amazing clinic team today!

Who we are looking for:

+ Provide1:1 patient care in 60-minute treatment sessions, focusing on functional rehabilitation for adults with neurological injuries

+ Collaborate closely with aninterdisciplinary team of passionate, skilled therapists to focus on patient-centered outcomes

+ Provide personalized care in aninnovative outpatient setting utilizing the latest technology and equipment

Responsibilities

+ Assist patients in exercise, ADLs, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Occupational Therapist

+ Assist Occupational Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment procedures

+ Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist

+ Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development

+ Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided

+ Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the AOTA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics

+ Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program

+ Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification and license to practice in state of application

+ Minimum of 1 year experience preferred, related to treatment of complex neurological injuries

+ Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques

+ Current CPR certification

Salary Range

USD $28.00 - $32.00 / Hour
