As a Music Therapist You will:

+ Assess patients’ functional status, music al responses, and preferences

+ Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients meet goals

+ Deliver music therapy using instruments, singing, movement, and listening

+ Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly and update care team

+ Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate changes in patient condition

+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care

+ Participate in meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives

+ Educate patients, families, caregivers, and staff on treatment plans

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in music therapy from an AMTA-approved program

+ Board-certified (MT-BC) by CBMT

+ Preferred: 2 years clinical music therapy experience

+ Valid driver’s license with insured, reliable vehicle

+ Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

+ Understanding of hospice philosophy and end-of-life issues
