    Overview

     

    As an Inside Sales Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of Material Handlers and Order Fulfillment Specialists (OSRs) who are dedicated to reviewing accounts, ordering products, and ensuring timely shipments to retail. Your role will encompass:

    Team Leadership

    + **Develop Expertise:** Gain a thorough understanding of internal systems and reporting tools, and train your team to use them effectively.

    + **Mentorship:** Train, mentor, coach, and supervise OSRs and warehouse staff.

    + **Policy Implementation:** Develop and implement policies and procedures related to order processing to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

    + **Collaboration:** Work closely with field sales staff to ensure Lottery Sales Representatives (LSRs) have the necessary supplies and support.

    + **Incentive Management:** Administer the OSR sales incentive plan and track operating costs, including outbound shipping.

    + **Daily Direction:** Provide daily guidance to your team, delegate responsibilities, and ensure cross-training.

    + **Hiring:** Manage the selection and hiring of new staff as needed.

    + **Leadership by Example:** Lead by example, effectively manage conflicts, and communicate transparently.

    Sales & Strategy

    + **Relationship Building:** Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Lottery personnel.

    + **Strategic Evaluation:** Evaluate and recommend optimal prize structures and future games.

    + **Data Analysis:** Analyze and present weekly scratch ticket sales and inventory status to the Lottery.

    + **Target Setting:** Set internal targets to drive sales growth.

    + **Collaboration:** Work with internal colleagues (Sales Manager and Business Analyst) on same-store sales initiatives and long-term strategies.

    + **Communication:** Communicate organizational strategies and best practices to the Lottery.

    + **Presentation:** Present strategies and recommendations at sales and planning meetings.

    + **Optimization Initiatives:** Collaborate with the corporate account team to design and execute sales optimization initiatives.

    Inventory Flow

    + **Product Knowledge:** Develop a thorough understanding of the organization’s products, services, policies, and systems, as well as those of the Nebraska Lottery.

    + **Resource Allocation:** Prioritize and allocate resources effectively.

    + **Inventory Management:** Track and manage inventory levels of supplies and display materials, ordering replenishments as needed.

    + **Flow Adjustment:** Evaluate and adjust the flow of products to retail.

    + **Returns Management:** Manage product returns as part of inventory control.

    + **Process Improvement:** Evaluate and implement improvements to sales programs and processes, including account management, inventory flow, and shipping cost efficiency.

    + **Sales Tools:** Utilize sales automation tools and reporting programs.

    + **Game Closures:** Evaluate and recommend game closures for product flow and sales optimization.

    + **Logistics Planning:** Develop and implement logistics and storage plans to maximize warehouse efficiency.

    + **Machinery Operation:** Operate warehouse machinery (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) as needed.

    Requirements

    + **Experience:** Retail sales experience.

    + **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in business, sales/marketing, or a related field preferred, or at least 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, and merchandising.

    + **Licenses:** Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

    + **Background Check:** Ability to pass a criminal background check.

    + **Technical Skills:** Proficiency with computers and mobile devices, including business applications software.

    + **Communication Skills:** Ability to speak clearly and persuasively with strong interpersonal skills.

    + **Writing Skills:** Ability to produce clear, concise, and easily understood written materials.

    + **Time Management:** Effective time management and organizational skills.

    At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting salary range is$60,989 - $200,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

     

    Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles may be eligible for short-term incentive or other discretionary bonuses. More senior roles maybe eligible for long-term incentive bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
