    Overview

     

    Come join the Developer Productivity team as a Senior Software Engineer. We are the team bring the cutting-edge technology and tools to all the Intuit developers, including Cloud Development Environment, Agents for coding and coding adjacent task.

    Responsibilities

    + Drive end-to-end services and features with an engineering and operational excellence mindset

    + Ability to comfortably move across high-level technical design, detailed technical design, implementation, and operational support

    + Ability to use seasoned judgment to suggest approaches that optimize among customer needs, business constraints and technological realities

    + Ability to apply business acumen to develop ROI of investment in new technology, including the assessment of risks and trade-offs

    + Roughly 80% hands-on coding

    + Design and implement scalable server-side applications to support AI-driven functionalities

    + Integrate Agentic workflows into backend services, enabling features like code analysis, generation, and autonomous task execution.

    + Develop and maintain APIs facilitating seamless communication between AI agents, web applications, and external systems.

    + Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient processing within AI-powered applications.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and monitor AI solutions on cloud platforms.

    Qualifications

    + 4+ years experience designing and developing software, web application or services.

    + Solid foundation in writing clean, scalable, performant and secure code.

    + Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    + BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

    + Expertise with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

    + Expertise in the Software design/architecture process

    + Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)

    Preferred Experience:

    + Expert in Golang or Python

    + Experience designing and implementing AI agents

    + Strong Linux / containerization skills, experience with different operating systems

    + Experience developing IDE extensions

    + Prompt engineering experience
