Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director who will report to the President and lead the company’s financial activities during a period of program growth. The role will be equally divided between direct support to a large ($100M) DOD program as well as running the company’s total financial operations. This is a unique chance to join a growing team and assume a plankholder role with significant growth potential and future management opportunities. Program Control (50%): Prior experience with using such tools as Deltek Open Plan, Cobra, CostPoint and PM Compass tools in support of cost estimating, pricing analysis, and financial reporting activities is not required, but will be helpful. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government cost accounting standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and the ability to extract and analyze data in support of a large U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) program. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and defense experts to deliver mission-critical solutions that ensure national security. Company financial operations (50%): This support includes invoicing, bimonthly payroll, expense report oversight, accounts payable, foreign parent company financial and tax reporting, cost accounting, and labor rate analysis. Some of these activities are currently being supported by external consultant support, which will remain available to the Finance Director through the transition, and beyond as needed.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

• Strong understanding of payroll and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)

• Experience with timekeeping systems and charge codes (Deltek preferred)

• Knowledge of AP/AR and cash flow

• 5+ years of experience in finance in the DoD industry Plusses:

• Active DoD clearance

• Familiarity with Deltek systems
