Job Description
Insight Global is hiring an Epic Project Director for one of our Healthcare clients in North Jersey. The Project Director begins the day by aligning with the executive steering committee and project sponsors to ensure the team is progressing toward implementation goals and long-term strategic vision. They serve as the central point of communication across all areas of the department, maintaining a unified plan and shared objectives. Throughout the day, they provide organizational guidance to facilitate decision-making, manage scope, cost, schedule, and quality across all current and future projects, and oversee staff management and resource allocation. The Project Director coordinates all project activities including software, hardware, business tasks, and change management efforts. They establish and maintain a super user program, engage subject matter experts, and set standards around project delivery and reporting. Communication with hospital, clinic, and billing office leadership is ongoing to ensure expectations are appropriately set and morale is maintained. The Project Director promotes the system and represents it positively to the user community, regularly reviewing project progress with Epic and internal leadership. They ensure the organization’s overall needs and direction are aligned with Epic’s capabilities and timelines. Adaptability and flexibility are key as they respond to evolving business needs. Critical thinking is applied to evaluate ideas from multiple perspectives. Dependability is demonstrated through ownership of tasks and timely execution. Initiative is shown by identifying and pursuing tasks proactively. Strong interpersonal skills support clear communication with leadership and subject matter experts. A commitment to learning new systems and attentive listening ensures accurate understanding. Problem-solving is driven by logical analysis and resolution planning. Relationship building fosters trust with Epic counterparts. Resilience enables high performance under pressure and in challenging situations.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, any field.
Healthcare experience
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
Minimum 10 years of Epic experience with having done an epic implementation
Project Management experience
Complete assigned EPIC Certification(s) and/or training within 90 days of employment.
