Job Description

An automotive client of Insight Global in the West Michigan area is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Manager to join their team! This individual will be responsible for delegating tasks to keep the plant and machines running smoothly and decrease downtime. Other responsibilities are as follows:

- Oversee maintenance of all production equipment and facility systems (HVAC, compressed air, water, etc.).

- Lead preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve reliability.

- Supervise building upkeep, janitorial services, and grounds maintenance.

- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to support production needs.

- Coordinate with contractors for repairs, installations, and facility services.

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and electrical codes.

- Monitor departmental KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

- Lead and develop skilled trades and maintenance team members.

Compensation:

$120,000 to $130,000 annually

Skills and Requirements

- 6–8 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business

- Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.

- Proven leadership and team development skills.

- Experience with complex systems such as HVAC, robotics, DI water, and paint systems.

- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards (e.g., NEC, ISO/IATF).

- Automotive manufacturing experience
