The position is for a senior level Full Stack developer, experienced with building enterprise-level software and modern web application architectures.

Help create a best-in-class software development environment that can be replicated across the organization. Candidates must have 7+ years as a Full Stack developer on Docker/Containers. Enterprise scale programming experience on modern web application designs and architectures using Python, Ansible, Django, and Docker/Containers. Ideally working with VCF, vSphere, vRealize Suite, NSX-T platform APIs at scale. Work collaboratively as a part of the Software Engineering team to enable the development, configuration, and operation of key systems, functional enhancements, and applications to enable adoption of VCF into the Bank of America Environment. Streamline our development operations and processes, standardize environments, as well as build and maintain tools for development, automated testing, regression, deployment, monitoring and operations. Will be responsible for developing, testing, deploying, and supporting in house written container based tooling used to build and maintain Bank of America’s internal cloud vSphere/VCF platform. Create and present design and development progress to peers and stakeholders as part of end of sprint ceremonies.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of experience as a Full Stack developer building enterprise-level software and modern web application architectures.

Hands-on production experience with Docker/Containers, Python, Ansible, Django

Site Reliability engineering experience with RHEL administration, patching, and support

Docker/Container break fix, maintenance, and feature function enablement experience

Expertise in Ansible, including experience with its architecture and writing custom modules

Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Python, Ansible, Django

Participate in agile software development processes and contribute to project planning and estimation

Hands-on experience with Version Control (Git/Bitbucket) tools and practices

Write unit tests and perform system integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of automation solution

Experience with CI/CD tool such as Jenkins, including writing deployment scripts to support customized builds and deployment environments

Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to write documentation for end user and present designs to peers and user stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Experience with vSphere APIs, Aria Suite APIs, NSX-T APIs

Understanding of ITIL processes is a plus

Hands on Cohesity / Netbackup / Avamar product experience

Typically requires 5+ years of software development experience with some exposure to network programming and networking protocols

Solid understanding of network concepts, load balancers, routing, subnets, firewalls
