Job Description

Serve as the lead functional expert and architect for Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, CM).

Conduct fit-gap analyses and design scalable financial solutions aligned with organizational needs.

Lead requirements gathering sessions with Finance, Accounting, and Treasury stakeholders.

Translate business requirements into functional specifications and guide technical teams through configuration and testing.

Design and maintain accounting structures, ledger configurations, and financial reporting hierarchies.

Oversee and validate module configurations, including workflows, subledger accounting, and approval hierarchies.

Support data migration, integration design, and testing across modules and external systems.

Develop and execute test scripts, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training materials.

Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, ensuring system performance and data integrity.

Provide guidance and best practices for Oracle Fusion upgrades, new module rollouts, and enhancements.

Partner with the technical team on BI Publisher, OTBI, and FBDI reports related to financial data.

Collaborate with leadership on process improvement and automation opportunities across financial operations.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of experience in Oracle Financials

Significant functional knowledge of at least two of these modules: GL, AP, AR, and Cash Management.

Proven experience in end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementation or upgrade projects.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.

Experience in functional configuration, solution design, and issue resolution.

Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. 3+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.

Knowledge of Enterprise Structures, Subledger Accounting (SLA), and Reporting Tools (Smart View, OTBI, BI Publisher).

Prior experience in public sector, education, or large enterprise environments.

Experience collaborating with system integrators and managing multi-module Fusion deployments.
