    **Sodexo’s Campus Segment** is seeking an experienced and dynamic **Catering Manager 3** located in **Western, NY** . In this role, you will be responsible for the organization, coordination, and flawless execution of university, campus, and third-party events. The ideal candidate will have a strong catering background, experience managing upscale and high-profile events, and the ability to plan and execute multiple functions simultaneously.

    What You'll Do

    + Lead and manage all catering operations, including event planning, menu development, logistics, and on-site execution

    + Collaborate with campus partners, clients, and culinary teams to ensure all events exceed expectations

    + Manage catering budgets, staffing, and scheduling to ensure operational efficiency and profitability

    + Oversee setup and presentation to maintain Sodexo’s high standards of service and quality

    + Train, develop, and mentor catering staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences

    + Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

    + 3+ years of experience managing catering or events in a hospitality, campus, or hotel environment

    + Proven track record in planning and executing large-scale and upscale events

    + Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

    + Excellent communication, customer service, and team-building abilities

    + A passion for creativity, innovation, and delivering exceptional guest experiences

    Qualifications & Requirements

     

    MinimumEducation Requirement - Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience

     

    MinimumManagement Experience - 2 years

     

    MinimumFunctional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
