    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to lead our Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments in our manufacturing operations. The Quality Manager will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, comply with industry regulations, and satisfy customer expectations. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading a team of quality professionals.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field

    + 10+ years of experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment.

    Essential Functions:

    + Develop and Implement Quality Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) to ensure product excellence, adherence to regulatory requirements, and customer satisfaction.

    + Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor the quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), electronics testing laboratory, equipment testing department, and regulatory compliance teams. Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.

    + Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within manufacturing operations. Use Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to reduce defects and waste.

    + Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, etc.), and regulatory requirements. Oversee internal and external audits and manage corrective actions.

    + Supplier Interaction: Collaborate with suppliers to improve material quality and ensure compliance with specifications.

    + Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action: Lead the investigation of non-conformance issues, conducting root cause analyses, and developing corrective and preventive action plans (CAPAs).

    + Reporting and Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality. Present reports to senior management on quality trends, achievements, and areas for improvement.

    + Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and R&D to ensure quality is integrated into all stages of the product lifecycle.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office software e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

    + Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory compliance.

    + Experience with quality improvement methodologies.

    + Proven leadership and team management skills.

    + Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

    + Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

    + Experience in conducting and managing audits.

    + Proficiency with quality management systems and software.

    + Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.

    Non-Essential Functions:

    + Experience in a specific manufacturing sector (e.g., automotive, electronics).

    + Familiarity with ERP systems related to quality management.

    + Experience with product testing and validation processes.

    Essential Physical Requirements:

    + The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    + Experience with filing reports online.

    + Able to read printed word, write, speak and understand English.

    + Able to bend, reach, and sit at a workstation for long periods of time and to traverse the building, as required.

    + Communicate information and ideas, written and verbally so others will understand.

    + Have neat, business-like appearance.

    + Possess a valid driver’s license and able to travel on short notice by public transportation, i.e. plane, train, bus, etc.

    + Must disclose any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.
