Job Description Summary
GE Aerospace is looking for a Senior Nozzle Integration Leader to join our team at BladeworX. This critical role will focus on nozzle development and integration while providing technical leadership and collaboration across our Madisonville, Kentucky, Springdale, Ohio and Muskegon, Michigan sites. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of nozzle technologies into our manufacturing processes driving innovation and delivering high-quality results!
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
+ Lead nozzle development and integration efforts across BladeworX
+ Provide technical expertise in nozzle design, manufacturing processes, and integration strategies
Collaboration:
+ Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure alignment on nozzle development goals
+ Act as the primary liaison between BladeworX and the Madisonville/Muskegon teams to drive consistency and innovation
Continuous Improvement:
+ Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
+ Implement lean principles and methodologies to improve nozzle integration processes
Problem Solving:
+ Address technical challenges related to nozzle integration and development, ensuring timely resolution and delivery
+ Utilize data-driven decision-making to enhance performance and reliability
Customer Focus:
+ Ensure nozzle integration meets customer requirements and program milestones
+ Support customer-driven initiatives and deliverables with a focus on SQDC priorities
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Engineering and/or Manufacturing)
+ At least an additional 5 years of experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or related roles
Desired Characteristics:
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or related roles
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred
+ Experience in nozzle design, development, and integration
+ Experience working in cross-functional teams and multi-site environments
+ Familiarity with lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
