Are you an experienced engineer with deep expertise in rotor dynamics and transient analysis for aerospace turbomachinery? At **PDS Tech Commercial** , we’re hiring a **Gas Turbine Engine Rotor Dynamics & System/Transient Dynamics Engineer** to support the design, development, and analysis of propulsion engines and Auxiliary Power Units (APUs). This is a high-impact role where your technical leadership will drive innovation and ensure compliance across complex systems.

Your Impact

You’ll lead rotor dynamics and system/transient dynamics analyses, support design reviews, and collaborate across global engineering teams. You’ll contribute to product development, compliance, and risk management while mentoring junior engineers and driving process improvements.

What You’ll Do

+ Conduct rotor dynamics and transient system analyses for aerospace turbomachinery

+ Perform design and analysis using complex finite element methods (ANSYS or NASTRAN)

+ Validate requirements and ensure project and product compliance

+ Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions

+ Provide technical oversight and guidance across global teams

+ Communicate technical findings through reports and presentations

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet program milestones

+ Contribute to process development and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in rotor dynamics and transient analysis for aerospace turbomachinery

+ Proficiency in rotor dynamics, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, shock, harmonic, and crack growth analyses

+ Strong working knowledge of ANSYS or NASTRAN and classical hand calculation methods

+ Excellent communication skills for technical reporting and presentations

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with new product development in regulated environments

+ Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers

+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

+ Experience operating in a matrix organization

+ Proven track record of successful contributions to complex projects

**Pay Details:** $52.71 per hour
