**Job Title:** Facilities Maintenance Technician

**Location:** Florence, SC

**Pay Rate:** $ 33.17/hr

**Shift:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional weekend overtime if needed)

This position involves operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across multiple systems — mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance and repair work across mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire/life safety, and control systems.

• Handle preventive maintenance, ensuring all building systems operate safely and efficiently.

• Inspect, calibrate, clean, and replace components to keep HVAC and related equipment performing at peak levels.

• Record readings, analyze data, and make necessary adjustments for system reliability.

• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and comply with all facility safety policies.

• Identify and correct safety hazards before they become issues.

• Manage tool inventory and assist with purchasing and maintenance supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing commercial or industrial building systems

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems with the ability to troubleshoot independently

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other basic computer applications

• EPA 608 Type II certification required

• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement

Preferred:

• EPA 608 Universal certification

• Two years of trade schooling in electrical systems, refrigeration, or HVAC

**Pay Details:** $33.00 per hour
