    Are you a hands-on assembler with experience in mechanical systems and a passion for precision? At **PDS Tech Commercial** , we’re hiring an **Assembler** to support the production of conveyor systems and industrial components. This is a role with long-term potential and hands-on training provided on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

    Your Impact

    As an **Assembler,** you’ll be responsible for assembling belt-driven, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, interpreting blueprints, and working with drive shafts and motors. Your work will directly support the production of high-quality industrial systems used across critical operations.

    What You’ll Do

    + Assemble conveyor systems and mechanical components using hand and power tools

    + Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

    + Plumb and pipe pneumatic and hydraulic lines

    + Install motors, gearboxes, and drive components

    + Test assemblies for proper fit and function

    + Inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, protractors, etc.)

    + Track and log assembly time sheets and document quality procedures

    + Maintain a clean and safe work area

    + Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other lift-assist tools

    + Participate in continuous improvement and follow all safety standards

     

    What You Bring

    Required Qualifications:

    + Hands-on mechanical assembly experience (not machine operation)

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

    + Computer literacy and ability to log work accurately

    + Ability to meet physical demands: standing, bending, lifting 40+ lbs

    + High school diploma or GED

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 3+ years of industrial assembly experience (Class I)

    + 1+ year of industrial assembly experience (Class II)

    + Technical education or training

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

    + Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

    + Familiarity with union environments and production standards
