PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced **MVDC Maintenance Technician** to join our team in **Moreno Valley, California** . About the Role

As an **MVDC Maintenance Technician** , you’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs—electrical, mechanical, and fabrication—on material handling and facility systems. Your work ensures equipment runs efficiently, safely, and consistently to support daily operational success.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical material handling equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, and forklifts.

+ Execute maintenance projects on conveyor systems, including installation, removal, and process improvement modifications.

+ Perform emergency mechanical repairs on failed material handling systems to minimize downtime.

+ Conduct scheduled and unscheduled repairs to facility equipment.

+ Identify and locate necessary repair parts for system maintenance.

+ Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, time sheets, and parts requests.

+ Support a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement in all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Required:

+ 1–2 years of progressive mechanical experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

+ Proficiency with manual and powered hand tools (drills, grinders, saws).

+ Ability to weld and use a cutting torch.

+ Knowledge of basic facility repairs (painting, plumbing, lighting).

+ Familiarity with spare parts procedures and inventory control.

+ Ability to operate and obtain certification for forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment on concrete floors.

+ Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and various shifts as needed.

+ Strong organization, recordkeeping, and communication skills.

+ Commitment to safety and accountability for tools, equipment, and company assets.

Preferred:

+ Experience with maintenance planning or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

+ Prior work in large-scale distribution or logistics operations.

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, and stoop for extended periods.

+ Frequent use of hands for handling tools and materials.

+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

+ Visual ability to read information in print and electronically.

+ Reliable attendance and timeliness are essential.

+ Full-time onsite role requiring in-person collaboration, maintenance response, and team interaction.

**Pay Details:** $30.00 per hour
